Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
A friend and I were charged with a class a misdemeanor at age 16 for theft in Texas. Although we did go through the expungment process and we were underage at that time, is it still possible for it to show up under an fbi background check? -underage, -petty theft, -class a midemenor, -expunged

If you were 16, then it was a juvenile proceeding. Expunged or sealed? It matters, since usually a sealed file can still be seen by law enforcement, but an expunged file cannot. Also, it's important to discuss these matters confidentially with a retained attorney, since you should not discuss it in a public forum. Cases that are sealed or expunged apply only to government agencies - there is no way to 'clean' the internet.
