Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
A friend of mine was arrested a month ago and is being charged with sexual assault of a minor. He's 26 and the girl is 15. Both of them are saying nothing happened, but the parents of the girl say otherwise. The mom of this girl says that she walked in of them having sex, but she didn't call the police till a week later. And the night this apparently happened, he was at a friends house all night. There are several witnesses that were there and can back-up his story. Can something like this hold up in court?
