Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
my friend got pulled over and arrested in my car, and i was in it. they took him to jail and towed my car while i was in the passenger seat and i was clean. are they LEGALLY able to do that?

Yes if the car is evidence or going to be searched for evidence, or if the cops claim that you were not fit to drive, or if the car is yours but is in someone else's name (such as your parents or spouse.)
