Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
A friend and I started Buying and selling golf carts using my money and his connections. After a year or so he decides he is going to sell to golf carts and never pay me back my investment or any profit. For six months he lead me on saying he was going to pay me but he never did. Then he took to golf carts to his lake property and till this day he won't bring them back to me. Even though my money paid for everything. Is there any criminal action that I can pursue to have him arrested or is this a civil suit only??

If you paid for the golf carts, you have the receipts, and you had possession of them, you can try calling the police to see if they will accept theft charges for him taking the carts. If not, then you will have to sue him. Do not delay and let the statute of limitations run on the civil suit.
