Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
fugitive arest
My fiance was arrasted by US Marshall in Californi yesturday morning, and he is held in county jail, we think it is for aggravated assoullt from year ago that was comited in Texas, but not sure. What is he looking at, how many years and what are his options? It was his first assault

Impossible to tell from the facts you provided but if it is a federal matter it is a serious one for sure. Call Prisoner Services for Federal Court for the Central District in California at (213) 894 - 2485 or (213) 894 - 4336. They might be able to tell you more information, such as charges he is facing and where he is going.
Your fiance needs a good lawyer. Feel free to contact me if he is going to be prosecuted in California. If he is going to be transported to Texas, you will need a lawyer there.
