Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

My girlfriend is currently being held in Texas for a charge in Missouri. She was convinced to fight extradition when she first went in front of a judge, before she had any contact with family or friends. It's been a few weeks, and we've had time to do some research now, and have found that there really is no reason for her not to waive extradition, as it's just causing her to spend more time. Can she now request that they waive extradition? What is the likelihood that they allow her? It seems like it'd be easier for everyone, so I can't see why they wouldn't. Thanks in advance!

You are right. Extradition is pretty much inevitable. And yes, she can now waive extradition. She need only contact her lawyer who will advise the court & likely put her back on the extradition docket.

She is getting credit for all the time that she is in custody.
