Hand Gun Laws
If you are not licened for concealed hand guns in texas can you still carry a hand gun in your car when traveling long distance?

If you are a travler and you pass thru at least
three county lines then the jury can find that
you are a travler and you can be aquitted.
However, this is a fact question for the jury.
I recently appealed a case where a man lived four
counties away and had a concealed gun in his car.
The DA argued that he was not a traveler as he commuted to school every day and thus was a commuter.
The defense was the travler defence. THe client lost. (I only handled the appeal not the trial.
