Do I have the right to hear my childs testimony and the confession of the assailant in a sexual assault case?

If you are talking about at trial, if you are not a witness in the case, you can be in the courtroom during all the testimony. If you are designated as a witness, you will not be allowed to be in the courtroom during testimony. In addition, depending on the facts of the case, some times prosecutors do not want the parent in the courtroom if the defense is claiming that the child has / is coached by the parent.
The prosecutor can share any "confession" and statement your child made with you - assuming your child is a minor.
