Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Held Under Federal Law (U.S. Marshal)
I am researching my relative's criminal acts. He/She was put in jail for stealing around $10,000 or more from a doctor's office he/she was working at. He/She has also been arrested before for drugs I believe. He/She has been in jail for a couple of month's and I was told he/she is being held by the U.S. Marshal. Right now he/she is in a County Jail but I don't think he/she has had her trial or sentence yet. I would like to know what this may mean or get more information on federal law with this kind of money. I would also like to know what "being held by the U.S. Marshal" means exactly. Your answer to this question will be greatly appreciated.

It seems that your freind is in federal custody. Federal Court takes a fair bit of time to finish . Its odd that there has been no bond set. I would be happy to discuss this matter with you if you want to call me at 512 392 5010 me email me at [email protected]
