Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Hi.

First of all I want to say thank you for taking the time in reading my question.

About 2-3 years ago my youngest daughter got a citation for theft she was 17 at the time, she did not get photographed, finger print, or arrested. She got the ticket and paid it.

After that embarrassment she is been good no more problems with law or anything. She is college now and wants to become a teacher but in order to enter this program. The applicant must pass a background check. She also wants to apply to an internship in which a clean criminal record is required.

Now we will like to know if this citation she got created a Criminal Record for her.

And if so is it possible to get this erased.

I would dearly appreciate you taking the time to answer my question.

Here's a good place to start:

1. Go online to publicdata.com and sign up. It costs $25.

2. Do a search for her criminal record and see what comes up. My guess is that it will say "no record."
