Do you have to hire an attorney practicing in the same county in which you were indicted or can you use legal representation from anywhere?

You can hire any attorney as long as they are licensed to practice in the state of the county that indicted you.

You are entitled to hire the attorney of your choice to represent you.
However, the attorney has to be licensed in Texas to practice law.
I practice state wide and have also practiced in other states as well; with their permission of course.
