Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
in home friend to friend fist fight
My friend and I got in a fist fight the other night. He initiated the fight and hit me first, but he ended up needing hospitalization. Can he press charges or sue? Can I press charges on him for hitting me?

You can both press charges. You can both claim self-defense. You can both file a lawsuit. The outcome is unknown. My recommendation is to make peace with him, so that none of these things happen.
