Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I am homeless. I was surfing porn in the library on a laptop I had checked out. My back was to the wall; no one saw me. A few minutes into it, a voice said into my headphones Your computer has been seized. The computer then displayed a frozen screen that said I had to pay $200 or $300 (I cant remember the amount) to unfreeze the computer. The charge listed was something like Illegally downloading porn / Child porn. I left the computer where it was , and left the library. Im almost positive no one could have stolen the computer; there was a security system at the door, and a security guard watching it. I had porn surfed five or six other times at the library, using my same library card and G-Mail account. All of the sites I ever visited were straight; no kiddie porn that I ever saw or clicked on. Im thinking that a warning popped up telling me to exit a site, and I mistook it for another advertisement, and ignored it. Im wondering what Im looking at as far as state and federal charges, and if you know of anyone who could help me legally.

Thanks

You're the victim of a scam.

The pop-up is a fake. It has nothing to do with reality. Somebody wants to trick you into paying money.

You are not in trouble. Forget about this silly nonsense.
