Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
For Hot Checks...we were told if we pay the checks off that was filed against her the judge would cancel the court. When we went in to set up payments and they had added an old case of dismissed checks to her file. If the checks have been dismissed in court can she still be held accountable for them? will she now have to pay off all the checks to get the judge to dismiss the court date or just the 2 shes being charged with?

Your question is nearly incomprehensible.
I assume that you are implying that if you paid off the checks your case would be dismissed and then the court date would be cancelled.
Then when you went to pay the checks, and they found old checks which were "dismissed." Were the old checks dismissed because they were paid? Were they dismissed after a plea bargain that you followed in full; except you did not pay for the checks? Were they dismissed with prejudice?
I do not know what you will have to get the judge to dismiss the case and then the court date. You will have to ask him.
I'd recommend that your wife hire an attorney and if she cannot afford to hire an attorney ask the court to appoint an attorney for you.
