Is there a way a man convicted of a felony without a history of any violence can obtain a gun for the purpose of hunting.If so, what should he do?

Hello there,
The only way a person convicted of a felony can even lay a finger on a gun is if they have had their firearm rights restored through the ATF.
Its called restoration of rights.
