Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My husband has been accused by my daughter of Aggrivated sexual assault. The case was presented to a judge who did not issue a warrant for his arrest? It hase been 3 months and nothing has happened so far. Is there a statute of limitation on how long they have to do something with this case?

Depending on how it is charged, the statute of limitations could be 5 years, 10, years, or unlimited. If your daughter was a child, the statute may run in 10 years from the time that she turns 18 years old.
