Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My husband was arrested on 2 state jail felony charges (criminal mischief of property $1500-$20,000 and possesion of a controlled substance under 1 gram) and 1 class A misdeamor charge (unlawful carry of a weapon) he is already a convicted felon (armed robbery) what will his sentence most likely be? He is not currently on parole or probation...

Normally state jail offenses are punishable by up to two years confinement in a state jail.
The existing felony may be used to enhance the range of punishment to 2 to 20 years in prison.
His likely sentence varies depending upon the circumstances, including the the county of his conviction. Of course, he could choose to try the case and win. in which case there would be no sentence.
