Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

My husband was chrged with burglary of hab with intend to commite another felony. his bond is 80,000. We can't afford that and he's been in jail 2 months and still hasn't heard a word on whats going on. He will probably beat the chrg but he can't get out of jail to work. How can we get a bond reduction so he can get out?

His lawyer would talk with the prosecutor and come to an agreement, if possible. If not, then his lawyer can talk to the judge. If he has not been indicted by the 90th day, he is entitled to a bond he can make or a PR bond - his lawyer would approach the judge about this matter, too.
