In most cases, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is a second degree felony. The range of punishment for a second degree felony is 2-20 years in prison, and may include a fine up to $10,000.00. Many factors determine the eventual outcome, and it is very important that he be represented by an experienced criminal defense lawyer.
