Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
my husband is in jail for a crime mistakenly pinned on him. the victim is meeting with the da's prosecutor today. will my husband be let out of jail when the charges are dropped. it was considered a felony assault

Victim can't drop charges. Only the State can drop charges. If they do, then husband will get out as long as he doesn't have any holds for parole, other county, or traffic.
