Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My husband pled guilty to a felony burglary of a building charge 10 years ago in order to get a deal to be put into drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Is there any way to get that felony downgraded to a misdemeanor charge? His court-appointed attorney did not assist him prior to trial.
