my husband was sentenced to 4 years in el paso tx. How much time does he have to serve? Its state time.

That will depend greatly on what he was charged with, what his prior record is, and a number of other factors. If his offense is not aggravated and is not considered a 3g offense, he is likely looking at serving a minimum of 1 year before becoming eligible for parole.
