Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My husband is in texas state jail custody he has a 7 month sentence he was arrested in harris county and sentenced but he also has warrants in Cadwell county and Galveston county I have reached out to both counties and no one can give me answer he would like to resolve his warrant before his relase date

Hire a lawyer in those counties to represent him.
If he has detainers against him, he is getting credit on each case for which he has a detainer or is in custody. (They do not have to file detainers and if they don't, he gets no credit on those cases.)
When he finishes in Harris County, he will be sent to any county with a detainer first. If none, he will be sent to prison / state jail.
