Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My husbands mother continues to harass us, at 1st she kept calling and sending harassing e-mails, until we finally got our number changed and unlisted and changed e-mail addresses. Now she continues to drive by our house and lay on the horn and shoot the finger. We have told her numerous times that she is to have NO contact with us in any way or come around our house period... but she just continues to drive by and harass. What can I do about this? I already told our local police dept once and they just told her to stop - which she did for about 2 months and has now started back up again... What to do?? Please help.

Her behavior, although annoying, does not rise to the level of a protective order. It does, however, justify getting a civil injunction.
