Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Identification
Is a person required to supply a constable with their drivers' license simply because they request it?
For instance I'm sitting on a park bench reading a book, can I decline an officer's request for my ID?

Re: Identification
For the most part, if you are asked for identification by a peace officer, you should provide it for the officer. On the other hand, it depends on how the officer ask you to determine whether the officer was wrong.
