Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Indecency with a child.

My husband was accused by his cousin of molesting her 5 years ago. The whole family knows it didnt happen but don't know why she is lying(she says she's lyng but won't tell the cops the truth???)Anyway, he has court tomorrow but she dropped the charges a few days ago. Will they state still go on with the case? My husband is 19 and the cousin is 15 and my husband is being charged as a juvinille. The charge is indecency with a child and it's a second degree felony. I'm scared because we've only been married for a year and a half and we an 8 month old daughter. How bad could this end up being?
