Can i be indicted on a different charge than what i was arrested for?

Yes. You can be indicted for any and all charges the grand jury feels there is probable cause for--they are not bound at all by the arrest charges. In practice, usually the original charge is correct and they stick with that, but it's their determination that counts, not the arresting officer's, and sometimes they do change the charge or even add another.
