Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

i was initally in charges filed for credit card theft, the owner of the ranch and card and his partner do not want to pursue charges on me and want it dropped, its now up to the da to decide what happens, my charges were minor and also some were due to lack of knowledge in a particular charge situation. my ex had racked up thousands of charges and was arrested, is out on bond and waiting, bc i couoperated and told the truth in my statement, the victims want to drop all on me, what is the likely hood that it will be dismissed by the da and not taken before a grand jury?

I understand that you are anxious and want to know what will happen, but the simple truth is that there are too many variables to predict what will happen.

A large factor will be whether you have a clean criminal history.

For a better assessment of your situation, you should consult with a criminal defense lawyer in your area. A good directory is the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association:
