Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Inpersonating a lawyer
My daughter received a letter ''supposedly'' from the lawyer that represented her husband during the divorce and child custody. The letter was filled with threats and in no way even sounded like anything a lawyer would even write. The signature appears to be a forgery. Is this legal to do in Texas.

If the letter is a fraud, then the attorney and the court should be notified. It is not legal.
