1 Answer from Attorneys
You may be able to sue them for violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), Breach of Contract, Fraud, Misrepresentation, Conversion and Money Had and Received. Your damages would be the loss of use of your money, loss of interest, benefit of the bargain, the actual principal they stole and, possibly, full recovery of all attorney's fees and costs. You may also be able to ask for additional punitive (punishment) damages. I would be happy to discuss this with you. You can call me at our toll free number (866) 483-2679. I'm Ryan Bormaster and my legal assistant is Carrie Smith. I would be happy to consider taking your case.
