Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
He can't go to jail.
My boyfriend got into some trouble. Someone asked him to give them a ride to sell something. My boyfriend didn't know it was stolen and he signed a paper saying he sold it. he was framed. The other guy got caught for it and is now trying to take my boyfriend down with him. He's 17 and has a clean record. He's never been in trouble with the law. What's the worst that will happen to him and what will a lawyer do to help the situation?

Re: He can't go to jail.
Your boyfriend needs a lawyer. The worst that will happen is that he will pay a fine, court costs and go to jail. Lawyers are trained to review the evidence, assess the strengths and weaknesses of the case; and either try the case or negotiate the best possible plea bargain.
