Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
if you went to jail for your crime and once you were released and miss a court apperance and they have a warrant for your arrest and you finally get locked up how long can you go to jail for that if your charges are burglary and selling food stamps???

What??? I assume you are saying that you were charged with burglary and selling food stamps and were arrested and went to jail, then made bond but missed your court date. The amount of time you can get on those cases has not changed. It depends on the level of the burglary - it could be a first degree (5 - 99 or life) or second degree (2-20). Not sure about selling food stamps - that is welfare fraud and I believe it depends on the amount of the stamps sold.
