Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Ok i took some jewelry from a house clean and sold it to a jewelry store. Now the people who i took it from want it back or they will file charges on me and i am already on felony probation they. They are giving me three days to get it back with no police. Can i buy it back from the jewelry store now and what do i say when i go up there?

Tell them you discovered it was stolen as the owners contacted you. Offer to give them their money back so you can return the property to the owners.
If you are prosecuted, the store will have to return the property to the owners without anny assurance of getting their money back.
