Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My judge who tried my case had to resign due to ethics violations . My case was 8 years ago and I was wondering if it could have any affect on my case since she was the presiding judge and the DA involved was the one who convicted me?

If the judge did something that affect YOUR case, then perhaps. But because there were ethics (or other) violations in another case does not mean your case was affected. You can imagine that this would cause far too many cases to be reversed and sent back to trial than could be handled so the only way is if YOU were affected.
