Juvenile posession of fireworks
My 15 yr old son was cited for ''juvenile posession of fireworks''. Fine is $300. Here's the story: The wife's dad died a few months back. Some old boxes of his belongings were brought to my house so she could go through them. In one of these boxes were some firecrackers. Son's friend came over for an hour then decided to leave. As he was leaving, he took/stole some of these firecrackers without my son's knowledge. My son never left his room. His friend was in the alley/driveway popping these when the police arrived. When asked if these were his fireworks, of course he said they were my son's. The police knocked on the back door, then gave my son a ticket. He was never outside during this time, thought his friend had gone home and was in his room at the computer. The police asked where the rest of the firecrackers were and my son gave them the rest of the bag. The friend was also ticketed.
