Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
A juvenile stole and wrecked my car. Grapevine, TX PD filed two offenses (1) evading arrest detention w/veh and (2) unauth use of vehicle. Report has sex as female. No other identifying information; just marked as Juvenile. Do I have options to recover damages for car?

Yes. You may be able to sue the parents of the child as parents are liable in Texas for intentional torts committed by their children. Simply because the juvenile justice system protects the identity of children doesn't mean that under the right circumstances a person (like one the situation you have described) cannot get access to this information to file suit.
You should speak with a local civil attorney about how to proceed in this matter.
