Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
juvenille
Friday at my sons school a teachers iphone was stolen. Someone told the school officer monday that my son had the iphone and that he had stole it. The principals called him in and searched him and all of his belonging including phone and text messages. The officer told us today when we went up there to find out what was going on that it did not look good for my son. He said that he would finish his investigation today. Could my son be arrested? What should we do?

Re: juvenille
You and your son should not make any statements to anyone, except a criminal defense lawyer that handles juvenile cases. Contact a lawyer today, to determine first if your son is going to be prosecuted, and if so, to handle his case. Whether he can be arrested depends upon his age.
