Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

If I got caught smoking marajuana by an officer and had other paraphanella on me at the time, but the officer gave the other things back to me and only took the marajuana an did not give me a ticket or send me to jail, can I still get charged with what happened 4 months later?

You can still be charged, but the circumstances you describe make it sound unlikely that you will be. I don't know if you got very lucky or what, but it sounds as if you might have dodged this particular bullet.
