child being charged with a crime of burglary/unlawful entry in tx what is the worst that could happen and the least that could happen? and what is the classification of the crime?

There are MANY details that are important in order to answer the question. Was it a home or a bldg? Was it at night? Were people home? Was there a weapon? What age is the child? What is the child's mental age? What is the past criminal history? School history? It goes on and on...
The child could be diverted from the juvenile system, could be placed on probation at home, placed on probation at an alternate facility, committed to TYC, certified as an adult, or the case could be dismissed, or some creative option.
