Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
What is the law if your wife picked up a pain prescription of mine and forged my name in doing so. We have been seperated for 3 weeks.

There are several possible offenses related to wrongful possession of a prescription. One offense is possession of a dangerous drug. Another is possession of a controlled substance by fraud depending on what type of prescription it is. Possession of dangerous drug is a misdemeanor and possession of controlled substance by fraud is a felony.
