would it be possible
would it be possible that a lawyer can expunge a felony( not stopping and render aid ) back in the year 1997 march 11. I want to become a police officer or border patrol

Hello there,
It is possible to have it expunged but you have to meet a few conditions first.
First, you are eligible if you were found not guilty of the offense.
Second, you are eligible if the District Attorneys dismissed your case.
If you were placed on probation and successfully completed it you may be eligible for an affidavit of non disclosure. However, all law enforcement agencies will still be able to find that you were arrested and placed on probation.
If you fall into any of those categories you should contact an attorney to have your criminal record cleaned up.
