In a criminal case, can a judge, deny me the right to dismiss the lawyer i have hired and obtain a new lawyer days before a jury trial?

You have the right to fire your lawyer at any time. However, the judge can refuse to continue your case. This means that your new attorney will have to be ready to tried the case on the day schedule.
