Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Left state after shoplifting 20 years ago, what now?
I applied for concealed weapon permit and was notified of several 20 yr old mis. arrests. Disposition of cases is requested. I only have a problem with one case. I was arrested in Texas for shoplifting in 1985. The charge states exactly as follows: Fraud Des Rem Conc. What does that mean? Do I notify the clerk of Court where the charge occured and ask for disposition? Can I be arrested and extradited? What happens to old unresolved cases like this? Thank-you!
