Re: legal advise
Based on what you have stated, the only thing that your discussion with the police department investigator will do is build a case against you or whomever the police are investigating at this time. Generally, the police gather information to build a case to submit to the District Attorney's Office, which prosecute the individual being investigated. If my local law firm can assist you with this legal matter or any other legal issue, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).
Re: legal advise
When I am asked this question, and have no clue what the situation is, my advice is to decline the interview. Just say no thanks. If there is a case against you, without your statement, they will arrest you. If there is not a case against you, then you aren't helping them build a case against you. I strongly recommend that you hire a lawyer.
