Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Legal Counsel
My son is in jail, does not live with me. He has been refused an appointed attorney. They say he can sell his assets. He has nothing of value. He rents, has no car, has nothing!! Can they legally hold him without giving him an attorney??? I'm on limited income, I can't help him.

Re: Legal Counsel
Go to the court clerk and look at the application that he filed -- he may have made an error in the application. Tell him to reapply.
