Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Legal form for promise not to file criminal charges
My son is being accused of theft of a camera. The accuser is stating that if we pay for the camera they will not file criminal charges. I am willing to pay for the camera but I want them to sign something stating they will not file charges. I want to know if they can still go back and file the charges against him.
