legal liablity
i was fired as a retail store manager. i was informed three days later that 2 deposits i made were deemed short. i counted and dropped in the night deposit. while picking up my check my former district manager saidf i was being held liable for them and loss prevention wold be speaking to me. should i hire a lawyer because i am 100 percent innocent of any wrong doing.

Yes, you hire a criminal defense lawyer. You have the most to protect, since you are not guilty. You should have a layer of protection between you and the corporation. If they are responsible for the loss, then you not only have to protect yourself criminally, but may have a civil cause of action depending upon the facts of the case.
