Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Is it legal for police officers to let someone break into someone else's shed or any other property without the owners permission, are the owner even knowing that anyone's on the property? The owner has a brain tumor & lives alone. On disability & 16 dollars a month in foodstamps. The other is a convicted felon who has been to the pentintuary & has numerous theft conviction. He had stolen the owners 300 dollar cell phone a few weeks before and she still has no phone. Is this permissive in the state of Tx and if not can anything be done

The police do not "let" people do anything. If you are aware of a crime, report it to police.
