Legislation HD1118
I committed a sexual offense when I was a juvenile. I was incarcerated in TYC for approximately 6 yrs. I have been on parole for 2 years living as a citizen registered as a sex-offendor. 1st. Is it possible for me to represent myself in court for the discontinuation of my need to register? 2nd. If so, would you offer any advice to assist me in this matter?

Re: Legislation HD1118
you can always represent yourself. You have to convince the judge there is no longer a need to register, which means he must be convinced there is no chance you will commit another offense. reports from counselors, and treatment providers are helpful, as well as listing any classes or programs you have gone through.
