Is it possible to have a lawyer write a letter for me to a government official/DA to have a criminal case dropped?

Criminal cases are not dropped because defense lawyers tell the DA to drop the case.
If you are the complaining witness, and do not want to prosecute, advise the attorney for the defendant.
Otherwise, you need to retain an attorney in the appropriate county to fully explain your situation.
You can email me directly if you wish.
